KIA Nepal, the frontrunner undertaking the responsibility of pioneering the onslaught of electric vehicles in Nepal, has revised the pricing of its popular Niro EV as per the new budget.
The Kia Niro EV now comes at a price of Rs. 69.90 Lakh which is an absolute steal.
The Kia Niro EV comes with a massive 64kWh battery paired with an electric motor that powers the front wheels. The battery on the Niro EV gives a range of 450 kilometers which should get you from Kathmandu to Pokhara without any traces of range anxiety. The Kia Niro EV makes 201 BHP and 395 Nm of instant torque which propels the Niro EV from 0-100 Km/h in 7.8 seconds making it one of the fastest electric cars in the country. The recently announced financial ordinance has announced 10 percent customs duty on electric cars, jeeps and vans up to 100 kW capacity, 15 percent on vehicles from 100 kW to 200 kW capacity, 30 percent on vehicles with 200 to 300 kW capacity, and 40 percent on vehicles above 300 kW capacity. As per reports, KIA Nepal is also looking for possibilities of bringing the
